3. Newsletter, free trainings and double opt-in

When you request a free training, we ask for your first name and email address. Before you submit, the form states: "You'll receive the free training, movement tips, and emails about my courses. Unsubscribe anytime." After submitting, you receive a confirmation email. You are only subscribed after you click the confirmation link (double opt-in).

We record when and from which IP address you signed up and confirmed, and which form you used, so we can prove your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every email or by writing to marco@kraftimpuls.com.

Mailchimp. Our emails are sent with Mailchimp, provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a Mailchimp (USA), part of the Intuit group. Mailchimp receives data in the USA under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, with Standard Contractual Clauses as a fallback. Mailchimp stores your name, email address, signup and confirmation records, and records whether you open our emails and click links in them. Privacy policy: https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/ Mailchimp's Data Processing Addendum (https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processing-addendum/) is incorporated into its Standard Terms of Use (https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/).

OptinMonster. Some signup forms on our German pages are displayed with OptinMonster (Retyp, LLC, USA). OptinMonster loads only after you consent to marketing in our consent tool. It then receives your IP address and browser data, sets cookies (_omappvp, _omappvs, omSeen-…) and local-storage entries to control how often forms are shown, and may load fonts from Google Fonts and Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection. When you submit an OptinMonster form, it passes your name and email address to Mailchimp and keeps a record of the signup (name, email address, page, IP address, date and time). If you withdraw marketing consent, OptinMonster no longer loads and its cookies are removed. Privacy policy: https://optinmonster.com/privacy/

4. Courses, accounts and payments

MemberPress. Our courses run on MemberPress, a WordPress plugin installed on our own website. When you buy a course, we store your name, email address, login details, billing details you enter and your course access. This data stays on our website's server (Section 5).

Stripe and PayPal. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. You enter your payment details directly with them; we only receive confirmation of whether the payment succeeded, plus limited transaction details. Each provider processes your data under its own privacy policy:

Digistore24. For specific launches or promotions run with a partner, such as MarathonFitness campaigns, orders are processed by Digistore24 (Digistore24 GmbH, Germany) as reseller. This applies only to purchases made through those campaign pages; our regular course purchases are processed by Stripe or PayPal as described above. Privacy policy: https://www.digistore24.com/page/privacy

We keep order and invoice records for as long as applicable accounting and tax rules require (see Section 9).

5. Hosting, security and site infrastructure

Hosting. Our website is hosted by HostGator (Newfold Digital, USA). When you visit, the server logs your IP address, the date and time, the pages requested and your browser. We do not archive these logs in our hosting account; HostGator rotates them under its own log-retention practices.

WordPress. The site runs on WordPress on our own server.

Jetpack (Automattic Inc., USA). We use Jetpack for login protection and to deliver images and site files faster through Automattic's content network. When a page loads, your browser requests images and files from Automattic's servers (i0.wp.com, c0.wp.com), which receive your IP address.

Akismet (Automattic Inc., USA). Comments may be checked for spam by Akismet, which receives the comment, name, email address, IP address and browser details.

Wordfence (Defiant Inc., USA). Wordfence protects the site against attacks. It processes visitors' IP addresses and request details to detect and block threats.

Gravatar (Automattic Inc., USA). If you comment, an encoded version of your email address may be sent to Gravatar to show your profile picture.

Polylang. Our language plugin stores a cookie (pll_language) to remember your language. It runs on our own server and shares nothing with third parties.

6. Analytics and cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use the consent tool Complianz, which runs on our own server and does not send your data to its developer. On your first visit, a banner asks for your consent, in German on German pages and in English on English pages. You can accept, reject, or choose categories under "View preferences":

  • Functional (always active): login, language, security and storing your consent choice.

  • Preferences: currently none in use.

  • Statistics: Google Analytics. Nothing is sent to Google before you consent.

  • Marketing: embedded YouTube videos and Instagram posts, which show a placeholder until you agree, and OptinMonster signup forms.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the "Manage consent" tab at the bottom of every page, on desktop and mobile. After withdrawal, Google Analytics no longer loads.

Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA), integrated through the MonsterInsights plugin, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), to understand how visitors use our site. Google receives your IP address, device and browser data, and pages visited. Google Analytics retains user-level and event-level data for two months under its data-retention settings. Google processes this data as our processor under the Google Ads Data Processing Terms, which we have accepted. Google signals and ads personalization are turned off, and we do not share Analytics data with Google for optional purposes such as product improvement or benchmarking. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Cookies observed on our site, with the providers' documented default durations: pll_language (language, functional; Polylang default 1 year); cmplz_ cookies (your consent choices, functional; Complianz default 365 days); _ga and _ga_8XLTMXL533 (Google Analytics, statistics, only after consent; Google default 2 years); _omappvp, _omappvs and omSeen- cookies (OptinMonster, marketing, only after consent).

7. Embedded content and fonts

Vimeo. Our course and free-training videos are embedded from Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., USA). All embeds use Vimeo's Do Not Track setting (dnt=1). According to Vimeo, this prevents the player from collecting session data and analytics about your viewing. When a video loads, Vimeo still receives technical information such as your IP address and device data to deliver it, and essential security cookies or technical requests may still occur. The videos load without a consent prompt. Legal basis: for purchased courses, performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for free trainings you requested, our legitimate interest in delivering them (Art. 6(1)(f)). Privacy policy: https://vimeo.com/legal/privacy

YouTube, Instagram and other links. Our pages link to our YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok profiles. Data is only sent to those platforms when you click a link. Some articles embed Instagram posts (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc.); like YouTube videos, they load only after you consent to marketing and show a placeholder until then. Some pages also embed YouTube videos (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, USA). When such a video loads, Google receives your IP address and device data and may set cookies. Because these videos are optional extras and YouTube can track you, they load only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Until you agree, a placeholder is shown; clicking "I agree" loads YouTube only, without enabling other services. Privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Fonts. Our fonts are stored on our own server. Your browser does not contact Google Fonts when you visit.

Imgur. Some pages show images hosted on Imgur (Imgur, Inc., USA). When such an image loads, Imgur receives your IP address and browser data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in showing these images (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We plan to move these images to our own server. Privacy policy: https://imgur.com/privacy

8. International data transfers

Marco Meyer Moves LLC is based in the USA, and most of our service providers process data in the USA. If you are in the EU or EEA, your data is transferred to the USA. For providers certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision; otherwise they rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, then delete it unless a law requires us to keep it longer.

10. Your rights

Everyone. You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and unsubscribe from our emails. Write to marco@kraftimpuls.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

EU and EEA visitors (GDPR). You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing. You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, especially in your country of residence.

California residents. Based on its current size and practices, Marco Meyer Moves LLC does not meet the thresholds of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can still ask us about the personal information we hold about you, and request correction or deletion, by writing to marco@kraftimpuls.com.

Do Not Track. Our website does not currently respond to traditional "Do Not Track" browser signals. Global Privacy Control (GPC) is a different signal; our site does not currently act on it either. Google Analytics runs only with your consent; you can withdraw it at any time with "Manage consent".

Third-party tracking. With your consent, Google may collect information about your online activity over time and across websites through Google Analytics. YouTube videos you choose to load can let Google do the same.

11. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our services or the law change. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes, we will post a notice on our website before they take effect.
